The 2007 beneficiaries were: Nathan Eslami and Tykesha Townsend. Their medical bills have racked up into the millions of dollars.
Nathan is the son of Mary Ann and Shirokh Eslami (the co-owners of The Southside Market, a small corner store on Birmingham’s Southside).
Tykesha (a.k.a. "Ke-Ke") is the daughter of Gail and Lonnie Townsend, Jr of Birmingham.
