Blues and Bluegrass for the Babes-May 28th & 29th, 2010-Memorial Weekend

Warren World, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is hosting its annual benefit concert on beautiful Canoe Creek in Ashville, AL this year to raise money for 12 year-old, Nick Bowen of Birmingham. Nick has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is fighting for his young life just one year after losing his mother to cancer. Nick is being cared for by his grandmother and is currently in Children’s Hospital of Birmingham, undergoing Chemotherapy treatment.

This is a free, family event with a public Boat Launch nearby. A 16 foot, Pelican canoe will be raffled off in addition to the Silent Auction and musical entertainment provided by some of Alabama’s finest. Donations are encouraged and accepted prior to the event, during and afterward.
